Direct flights between India and China to resume by late October
India and China will resume direct flights from late October, facilitating people-to-people contact and business exchanges after prolonged restrictions.
The Ministry of External Affairs announced that following extensive discussions, direct flights between India and China will restart in late October 2025, aligning with the winter schedule. This move marks a significant normalization of bilateral ties and will be operated as per the commercial decisions of designated airlines, enhancing connectivity and supporting trade, diplomacy, and tourism.
